More than 200 of the country’s top high-volume, multifamily and custom luxury builders will attend this year’s Summit with the desire to take the next step forward with tech.
When the 2017 TecHome Builder Summit opens at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Ariz. on Dec. 4, 235 of the most tech-forward homebuilders in the country will be ready to explore the opportunity, challenges and requirements for success with home technology. They will accomplish this through interactive roundtables, inspiring general sessions and scheduled engagements with more than 100 of the industry’s leading tech vendors.
This year’s event will prove to be the largest Summit yet, featuring decision-makers from the top high-volume, multifamily and custom luxury builders in the country. Together, they represent $64 billion in aggregate revenue in 2017 and 247,000 homes built.
Those impressive numbers are led by the high-volume segment. The 107 guests represent 73 unique companies and account for $51 billion in annual revenue with more than 197,000 home built. About 50 builder giants are among this group, which includes names such as Beazer Homes, D.R. Horton, Lennar and PulteGroup.
Multifamily builder guests also represent a large portion of that aggregate revenue, coming in at $22.7 billion from 51,385 homes built. There are 51 guests from 37 different builders. Some of the leading names in this segment are Alliance Residential, Gables Residential, Lennar Multifamily Communities and Mill Creek Residential.
The 77 LUX builders have the smallest combined revenue, but the highest per project value. With 836 homes built in 2017 and $814 million in revenue, the average home is nearly a $1 million build for this group. Some of the top builders in this category are G & G Custom Homes, Jim Murphy & Associates, Kurtz Homes Naples and LIDA Homes.
Each segment has shown considerable growth compared to 2016. Overall, the number of total guests at this year’s Summit is up 22 percent.
“It is very exciting to see that the TecHome Builder Summit is becoming so well known in the production, luxury and multifamily markets we are serving,” says AE Ventures guest recruitment specialist Kaleigh Barrasso. “It seems that word of mouth is spreading, and keeping up with the smart home trends of the future is becoming increasingly important to our builder audience. I am over the moon at the caliber of builders we are hosting this year as they are undoubtedly some of the best in the country. I know that the experience these top players will have at the event will be exceptional and will keep them coming back in future years.”
