The exhibit hall at ISC West opens today in Las Vegas, and there are already some standout home tech companies.
Arecont Vision, a leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has received two 2016 Government Security Awards (the Govies). The awards, given on opening day of ISC West, are to recognize new camera products for video surveillance and security.
The Arecont Vision MegaVideo Flex and the SurroundVideo Omni G2 are both on display at the show (booth #8045) at the Sands Convention Center.
Arecont Vision also received a Govies award in the “Video Surveillance Advanced Imaging Technologies” category for the recently released multi-sensor SurroundVideo Omni G2. The newest SurroundVideo Omni is the G2, which adds 3-axis gimbals for an increased range of sensor motion for further user customization of the field of view. It also delivers faster frame rates than previous models.
