When natural lighting is not available, a light bulb that can mimic its look and feel can create that warm feeling homebuyers desire.

Ketra’s lighting solutions allow total control of color and brightness with an LED bulb that offers a full color range from bright jewel tones to soft pastels across the spectrum from 1,400 to 10,000 degrees Kelvin.

The LED bulb also offers bright white light that dims like an incandescent bulb. Unlike other LED bulbs that dim to about 20 percent, Ketra’s A20 bulb dims to almost complete darkness to 0.1 percent.

Homeowners can wirelessly control the bulb through the Ketra app, and the bulb can be controlled by other home automation systems or a standard dimmer. Installing Ketra’s products costs about $1,000 for a large room.

Ketra’s products create what the company calls “circadian rhythm lighting” using its lighting software to design lighting that mimics natural daylight throughout the day, from soft white dawn to rosy dusk and the warm glow of firelight after dark.
