The International Builders Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) focused on new innovations and connected solutions that builders may demand as standards in 2017.
The two shows were co-located at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, with more than 900 exhibitors showcasing new connected systems and devices to builders eager to learn more about this changing industry.
While about 80,000 people attended the show, TecHome Builder is giving builders and integrators who couldn’t make it an inside look at the trends and products that could dominate the TecHome industry in 2017, and beyond.

True Personalizer System
Personalization was a central theme at IBS and KBIS and the new True Customization Platform fits well into luxury homebuyers’ desires for personalization.
Using a tablet or smartphone, builders can use this platform to market different colors and styles in a range of appliances. In a showroom setting, a builder can use a personalization tool like this to immediately display new styles as they would appear in a client’s home.
Much like using virtual reality to market new options, the ability to immediately display a range of styles to your client can be a compelling selling point.
