NAHB Announces IBS Awards Finalists

The National Association of Home Builders is gearing up for the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas (IBS) and has just announced finalists for its fourth annual Best of IBS Awards.

The finalists were chosen from over 300 entries in nine major categories by 27 industry and media representatives. These categories and their finalists will help builders pinpoint the best companies to assist them in successfully integrating technology in their residential projects.

Best of IBS Categories Include:

  • Best Bath Product
  • Best Energy Efficient Product
  • Best Green Building Product
  • Best Home Technology Product
  • Best Indoor Living Product
  • Best Kitchen Product
  • Best Outdoor Living Product
  • Best Window & Door Product
  • Most Innovative Building Product

In order to finalize the entries in each respective category, voters looked for four major distinctions—Innovation, Functionality, Good Design and whether the product was Builder/Consumer Friendly.

These are all distinctions the TecHome builder should make in their projects as well.

Among the finalists are both well-known and new companies such as Bosch, Aquarius Brands, Big Ass Solutions, Juicebox Energy, Thermador, Panasonic and SnapPower. Perhaps the best aspect of these awards for builders is that every single company vying to be the best of the best will also be featured on the show floor. Every finalist has their accompanying IBS booth number next to their name, meaning builders can see firsthand what makes these companies award-worthy.

IBS kicks off in Las Vegas next week. Check out the full list of finalists below.
