POP @ PCBC Award Winners



PCBC wrapped up yesterday after two full days of exhibitions and events. The Parade of Products (POP) @ PCBC awards capped off the event, representing innovative new product offerings available in the housing industry.

Judges included: Denise Dersin, Professional Builder Magazine, Editorial Director; Jeff Allgood, Taylor Morrison, Corporate Director of Strategic Sourcing; Nea Maloo, Showcase Architects, Architect; Nigel F. Maynard, Writer, Blogger, Product Guru; Richard Zimmerman, ecoMetric, llc, USGBC-LEED for Homes Provider.

Seventeen winners were rated according to solution base, innovation, practical application and design.

ACT, Inc.’s D’mand Kontrols

D’Mand Kontrols water recirculator heat pump sends cold water in the plumbing back to the water heater via separate cold water pipes.

D’mand Kontrols hot water recirculation systems delivers hot water on demand, reduce water waste, and conserve energy.

The device, manufactured by ACT, Inc. recirculates cold water in the plumbing back to the water heater via a dedicated return line while simultaneously bringing hot water to all fixtures on the line.
