Massachusetts Proposed Measure: Solar Initiative 

 

The Solar and Renewable Energy Initiative was a state statute initiated by citizens for the Massachusetts ballot that did not meet the criteria to make today’s official measures.

Essentially, this proposed law would have established organizations to create and amend programs that govern the use of electricity from renewable energy resources.

Even though this proposal did not gather enough mainstream support to officially make the ballot, it reveals that more consumers are actively interested in and thinking about solar’s benefits.
