Gearing up for CES in Las Vegas? We have what you need to know before you head to the massive industry event that’s now a week away.
The four day event is one of the largest trade shows in the world. According to CES by the numbers, more than 170,000 attendees from 153 countries attended in 2015. That includes integrators, some manufacturers, builders and other industry professionals.
Some standout sessions at this year’s event will be on 2016 tech trends to watch, exploring the global electronics marketplace as well as key takeaways from devices launched in 2015. At the top of the trends discussion will likely be unique products on display from big names like Samsung, Control4 and more.
Attendees can also expect to see a new, smart lock system from Schlage, an improved SmartThings Hub and more unique smart home devices aimed at whole-house control.
Aside from the sessions that integrators can attend, the trade show will also offer different tracks on a variety of important industry topics. These 20 tracks range from creating and selling tech to finding industry resources to help on your next job.

More than 3,200 booths and exhibits will be on display at this year’s CES.
While the event is primarily targeted toward integrators, builders can gain a great deal of helpful information to pass onto their clients. With such a varied range of topics, even veteran builders can learn something valuable.
