A main purpose of owning a luxury home is to create a “wow” effect when entertaining friends, family and business associates. Women make or primarily influence 91 percent of all home purchases, and entertaining guests is one of their top priorities. In this session, we’ll take a look at women-focused home selling, emphasizing some of the present and future technologies that can add to a woman’s ideal entertaining experience. We then challenge guests to use roundtable discussions to develop and sell their own women-centric, tech-enhanced plans. Prizes for the top concepts will be presented.

When starting a new project or forming a new business relationship, the subject of who should take the lead is a typical one. Does the builder direct the contractor? Does the contractor guide the builder? How do successful partnerships and processes emerge? Electronics systems contractors have decades of experience in taking the lead, when necessary, in the dance of builder and contractor (and don’t forget the manufacturer and customer!). As the TecHome grows to include every other trade, from indoor HVAC to outdoor irrigation, the roles of leader and partner have grown more complicated. This session will give you a chance to test out new approaches with builders and contractors in the same space.
