Seeing is believing, and at the International Builders Show (IBS) builders will have a chance to see a unique, modular home built on connected and efficient technology.
Ark, a California modular builder, was chosen to build this year’s model show home. The home was chosen for its use of sustainable building practices and energy-efficient technologies and appliances.
Ark’s home automation platform controls the integrated audio, video and security systems as well as the mechanical HVAC systems.
Builders just starting out with tech can take a tour of the home to see how easily connected systems can integrate together for a fully-controllable smart home.

Solar panels, efficient smart lighting, graywater recycling systems and low-flow water fixtures are standard in all Ark modular homes.
The range of efficient technologies can help builders at IBS get a sense of how efficient appliances and tech can appeal to clients.

After debuting at IBS, Ark will move the home to Los Angeles in February. Builders can take a tour of the Ark home by going to the Show Village anytime during the event.
