Homeowner and shoppers are demanding tech-enabled convenience, stable connectivity, efficient appliances, and healthy home promoting HVAC systems. In short, buyers want move-in-ready technology to meet their lifestyle needs.
Homebuyers are entering the market looking for more than just elbow room. With the shift to work-from-home this past year the boost to technology adoption has skyrocketed and buyers expect that shopping for a new home will have these tech advantages built-in.
Builders are taking notice of the demand. According to our recent Product Pulse Survey, 58% of builders said they have (or will have within the next year) one or more staff members dedicated to evaluating and implementing technology products. We have also seen a surge in new home builder companies adding their own company branded standard smart tech solution packages to their homes including:
- Tri Point Homes
- PulteGroup
- Lennar
- Meritage Homes
- D.R. Horton
- The New Home Company Inc
Builders no longer need to worry about staying ahead of the curve on tech–they need to worry about getting left behind! Technology should be an integrated part of the new home experience. Builders can leverage tech to differentiate new homes vs used homes and gain a greater share of the market by working with trade partners to meet customer demands.
Need help updating your tech offers and packages? Want to meet with builder-focused trade partners who will help you satisfy and delight your buyers?
