John Galante
John Galante is president of AE Ventures, producers of the TecHome Builder Summits. Prior to founding AE Ventures, Galante headed EH Media’s events division and contributed to development of its publications and online media. At EH, he launched the award-winning Electronic House Expos and the Worship Facilities Conference & Expo, and launched the CE Pro and TecHome Builder media brands as editor. Before joining EH, Galante was with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), where he managed the Integrated Home Systems, Video and Accessories Divisions. He also served the Security Industry Association as executive director and Reed Exhibition Companies in event business development positions. In the association realm, Galante spearheaded the founding of the Distributed Audio Alliance and the Consortium for Electronic Systems Technician Training, served as a director of CTA’s TechHome Division and, in 2001, was named the Home Automation & Networking Association’s industry leader of the year.
Michael D. Ham
Michael D. Ham co-founded Refresh Smart Home, a NY based company, that pioneered the integration of healthy home solutions within the smart home industry. It is the top rated Google Nest service provider in the U.S. and made the CE Pro Top 100 in 2019. Ham recently joined Pure365, a spinoff from the global wellness brand Pure Wellness (pureroom.com) founded in 2003 and awarded the Cornell University Innovation Award as a top hospitality amenity that counts the Ritz Carlton, Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt as some of its hotel partners. Pure365 aims to bring to the residential market an entire ecosystem that integrates high performing air and water quality hardware with user friendly software that will provide real-time situational data, education on matters of health and wellness and automation to optimize one’s built environment.
